About the brand.

Ssalg is a project by London creative Elinor Christie. 

The idea came to life when the UK was put into lockdown and Ellie was put on Furlough. 

Ellie has always been fascinated with sustainability and giving everyday objects a second life.

Glass cutting and sanding became a mindful escape from the endless hours of isolation using therapeutic repetitive motions and processes. 

Each glass is hand cut and sanded and all bottles have been donated by Ellies neighbours and local community. 

For this reason, each glass is unique. Each product or set will have slight variations and characterful differences. 

Each product has had its own journey during this time. Once it reaches your table we hope it brings joy with a cheers.
