Colour, shape, form and scale are all important and key aspects to Flora's design ethos and aesthetic. Being the elements she values most, she is always considering these when designing - from initial design development to their final process of hand screen printing.
Often nature-inspired, she creates minimalist abstract shapes from observation. She works with heavy cotton and linen, and enjoy how the textures of these fabrics are evident in the screen prints, both my prints and fabric choices are suited to the lifestyle print market, including both fashion and interiors.
Flora Duke is currently studying a Masters in Textiles at the Royal College of Art.
