Who We Are

A Conscious Consuming Lifestyle Platform

Founded in 2018 after struggling to find a place to shop for well-designed products from sustainable sources Natalie started

Zero-Living the conscious consuming lifestyle platform.

Creating a space for startups and local brands to showcase their planet-friendly products, committed to opening up opportunities within local communities and dedicated to raising awareness about climate change.

Zero-Living aims to change the way we currently shop, selling high quality products designed to last and with the ethos of 'choose-better' helping to reduce waste and creating a more conscious buying mindset.

Dedicated to equality for all and understanding the imperative need to change. Ensuring that every individual has an equal opportunity to make the most of their lives and talents. Believing that no one should have poorer life chances because of their gender, race, disability or background.

Community interaction is key to Zero-Living, with Natalie hosting a range of events including hands-on workshops, brand talks and bespoke pop-ups aiming to reconnect and empower individuals with a new way of consuming.

Together we can make the future green and equal for all.

We will continue to work with brands who are totally transparent with their supply chain, helping us to ensure you that the products you buy are ethically and sustainably sourced. We are always looking for ways to improve how we communicate this to you and understand the need to be honest and adaptable.

We look to supply only organic and sustainable materials which have been repurposed, recycled or are certified as being more planet-friendly such as GOTS and FSC. Helping to minimise particularly textiles that are made using chemicals which can harm the planet or materials that are overproduced and not sustainably replaced. We ensure that we have as little plastic in the range as possible and only have it on brands that are making the steps toward replacing it with a better alternative.

Meaning, the brands we work with and their products we sell are of high quality, are always season-less and have the environment and reducing waste as a top priority. We make sure that the stock we buy is never based on a trend, buying minimal quantities and restocking as needed, to ensure as little waste as possible is left.

Locally and Small

We aim to work with brands who produce their products in the UK and therefore support the local community and economy. Ensuring most materials and ingredients are locally sourced. Offering an alternative option to mass produced products that do not tell a story or offer a clear understanding of their supply chain.

For us this always means safe working conditions, minimum wages, gender equality and worker’s rights. We believe that it is only fair to pay for this and that is why consciously produced goods come at a slightly higher cost. A mindset we hope to continue to build and therefore ultimately not have to justify.

Cruelty free

No product will ever be tested on animals or will any animals come to harm in the making of the products we stock. We always try to prioritise vegan friendly products and work hard to ensure that we have transparent information on this available for our customers.

We are currently part of the WEN community - Women taking action for a healthier planet.

Currently donating 1% of all our profits.

Wen acts to achieve equality, justice and joy at the point where gender and environmental issues meet.

We work both in East London and nationally to support women and grass-root movements. Our mission is to achieve environmental justice, and we do this through providing women with equal access to knowledge, resources and opportunities to better their day-to-day experience.

Wen's work is diverse. Whether it’s local food growing, green care in women’s refuges or our Environmenstrual campaign – all of our projects and campaigns have women and the environment at their heart.

Zero-Living also donates to UNICEF as part of our Covid19 We Care packages - Supporting children in need across the world.

Lots of our brands also work with give back schemes and charities, supporting communities and giving back to the planet.
